Unfiltered Gamer Review
Hey there! Hope you're doing well. It would be great if you can lend a hand in making my Kickstarter Campaign successful. Look for the review by Unfiltered Gamer near the bottom of this post.
What is this nonsense?
We are looking to raise enough money to produce 1,000 units of our game, Race to Insanity. Our campaign will launch on April 1, 2021 and run for 30 days.
Tell me about this game of yours?!
In Race to Insanity there are two types of players in the game; the Active Player and the Challengers. The Challengers will choose a Challenge from their card that the Active Player will attempt to perform before the sand timer ends. The first Challenger has the option of any one of four categories to choose from. Once a challenge has been chosen, that category is not available for the other Challengers to use from the cards they have drawn.
For example, the person first to draw and choose may pick Yellow, the Vocal Impressions challenge. Each player after that is not allowed to pick that color from their card. The second Challenger has the Blue, Pink, and Green challenges left to choose from their card. Let's say that player two picks Green, which means only Pink and Blue remain. Player three might choose Blue, leaving player four with the Pink challenge
Active Player™
This is the person performing all the zany improv before the timer runs out!
Challengers™
Challengers are always to the right of Active Player. They get to choose which crazy behavior the Active Player is challenged to perform.
The challenges are color-coded and categorized. Here is one possible combination of challenges that an Active Player would face.
What Comes in the Box?
In the box you will find:
• A one–minute sand timer
• Rulebook
• A deck of 52 Cards
• A Golf Pencil
• A Score Pad
When does this happen?
We launch our campaign this April 1, and it will run for 30 days.
Why April 1st?
Our Kickstarter launches April 1, yes, April Fools day! Why? Because the games Mascot, Uncle Billy's birthday is on April 1st and he would like to celebrate it with a launch for the game Race to Insanity, by raising money to helps us produce 1,000 copies of the game, Race to Insanity!
Upon Success
When a Kickstarter Campaign succeeds, all pledge amounts will be collected and the funds will be paid out to the campaign owners. From there the game art will be finalized and all relevant pieces will be manufactured. This game will be manufactured in the United States and assembled by the ninetyten games team before being shipped out to all pledge contributors who choose to pledge at the appropriate level. See the Kickstarter page for details upon launch. Once shipped, you should have in your hands a brand-new copy of Race to Insanity to enjoy with your friends and family.
How can you help?
There are a few ways you can help. The most direct is to sign up for an account on Kickstarter and follow our prelaunch page and pledge when we're live.
Another way is to share the links below with your friends and family and ask them to share with theirs.
