5 May 1821 - Napoléon dies in the remote island of Saint Helena 5 May 2021 - Kickstarter Campaign of Napoléon 1815 History has written the story of Waterloo many different ways, but, in the end, it is always the same story. This is your opportunity to write something different. Napoléon 1815 is the third installment in The Conquerors, a series devoted to the great strategists of history. Following on from Napoléon 1806 and Napoléon 1807, Napoléon 1815 brings its own unique challenges to this well-tried and highly acclaimed campaign system. For up to three players, assume the role of Napoleon, Wellington, or Blucher, making the key decisions that will determine the fate of Europe. As Napoleon, will you adopt your own version of his “strategy of the central position,” driving a wedge between the enemy armies and then annihilating each of them in turn? Or perhaps you will choose a different course, or find that change is forced upon you? Time is of the essence, for if the armies of Wellington and Blucher do join, the emperor’s final throw of the dice is likely to end in defeat. Napoléon 1815 is intended for both the seasoned grognard as well as eager young conscripts with a desire to understand how history is made. A simple but historically faithful set of rules means that all the key aspects of campaigning in the Napoleonic era are present for players to interact with. Both subtle bluff and the blunt application of massive force will have their place as events unfold. The history books tell us that Waterloo itself was fought on an overcast day, June 18th, that had been preceded by a night of torrential rain. Denis Sauvage, born on a Waterloo anniversary nearly two hundred years later, has looked back to that other time, a time when armies gathered and the cannon thundered. This is a game he was destined to create. Telling a different story is now up to you. History has written the story of Waterloo many different ways, but, in the end, it is always the same story. This is your opportunity to write something different. Can you lead your men to victory?Napoléon 1815 is the latest installment of the Conquerors Series using the same mechanisms from Napoléon 1806 and Napoléon 1807. Very well received by gamers, these tabletop wargames are for either young conscripts or seasoned grognards, thanks to progressive levels of difficulty in the rules. Conscript: A person drafted or enlisted into the armed services. Grognard: An old soldier, a term used for the Napoleon’s original imperial guard.

A new SG unlocked and thanks to you the author of the game will get a 10% bonus on every game sold during this campaign. So a great thank you for your support. Next SG:The next SG has been already revealed and if reached we will add 2 pages of historical and design notes to the scenario booklet. At 50k€, we will add 5 dice to the game for the Prussian player. So the Coalition players won't have to share their dice to fight against Napoléon, and you won't be able to complain about your partner cursing your dice... Also note that the Extra dice add-on will also include 15 dice for the same price! Rules:Nicolas just finished the final layout of the rules in French. If you want to give it a look it is possible here: Rules in French The rules in english are in final proofreading and I think we should be able to share them with you before the end of the campaign. Pledge manager:We received a few questions about the pledge manager. As indicated, there won't have pledge manager. Payment of the shipping cost is done directly during the campaign. However, for those that want to add games (Napoléon series, Saladin or Border States), or mats afterwards it will be possible. We will open pre-orders in our website and all backers of this campaign will receive a coupon code to get discounts on the regular prices. Please note however that all the games, even those available, will be shipped together when Napoléon 1815 will be released. We have a few days left to go, so do not hesitate to share around you about the campaign!

Hi all, After a well deserved summer break, time for an update concerning the project. 1. Sample : We will receive a production sample by mid-september from the factory. This will allow us to check than everything is OK in order to launch the game in production. So we are really on schedule for a delivery by March 2022 as indicated during the campaign. 2. Production : Goal is to give a go to the factory by end of september. We received the files for the Japanese version of the game and are waiting for the Spanish translation that should arrive soon. Current production leadtime is around 2 months. 3. Delivery : As you may know we have lots of uncertainties currently concerning sea freight. For reference, a 40' container was $2000 last year (for N1807 Kickstarter delivery), and it is up to $15000 now. This is more than a significant increase, so we are trying to get a better insight of how it will evolve in the coming months. We will keep you updated on this specific point. Last, you can still preoder the game on our website. shakos.fr/en/Take care and stay safe! The Shakos' team

Hi all, Time for an update concerning the project. 1. Sample : We received the production sample from the factory and it is just great. You will find below some pictures. 2. Production : The games are now in production. We received all the files from our partner and after checking the sample we were able to give a go to the factory. We are really on schedule for a delivery beginning of 2022. 3. Delivery : As you may know we have lots of uncertainties currently concerning sea freight. For reference, a 40' container was $2000 last year (for N1807 Kickstarter delivery), and it is up to $15000 now (and even more). This is more than a significant increase, and currently it is not possible to book a container. One thing we will do is to group ship the KS of Napoléon 1815 with Border States and Saladin in order to absorb part of these unexpected costs. It won't have any impact on Napoléon 1815 delivery. Last, you can still benefit from a discount if you preorder games on our website : shakos.fr/en/Take care and stay safe! The Shakos' team
