I've been on a Mario35 kick as of late. Trying to beat everyone else in the world every weekend. Anyone else play this or Tetris99?

CrossCode; the New Home DLC was just released with is a proper expansion that entails everything you would expect of such. As one of my favorite games of all time, I had to get it day one- but I haven't poured as much time as I'd like into it.

As one of my favorite games of all time, I had to get it day one- but I haven't poured as much time as I'd like into it. Crosscode, what is that? A massive RPG that takes a lot of overused ideas from JRPGs and finally does them right; a silent protagonist, VRMMOs, and some other ideas that venture into spoiler territory, all finally explored in a logical fashion. In addition to its excellent writing, it's an action RPG with one of the most fluid battle systems I've ever seen, fun and unique puzzles, "platforming mazes" galore scattered throughout the overworld, and so many layers of goodness to it.
I actually ended up reviewing it twice- once on VGG before I ventured into video reviews, then more recently for my channel's one year anniversary.

I've been playing Mario 64 A classic; do you go for all 120, or do you prefer to rescue Peach and call it a day?

I picked up one of the Atgames arcade cabinets so I've been going through a bunch of older games.

I got back into Skul: The Hero Slayer recently. It's a brutally difficult rouge-like platformer. I've managed to reach the third major boss a couple times- and there's still one more after it.

Many of the online stores (Steam, Epic, GOG, Fanatical, Greenman, Indiegala, Itch.io) are having their winter/holiday sales right now so it's a great time to pick up some cheap games.

and I played Ghost of Tsushima all week, I really liked it, I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s really interesting and beautiful. Recommend to those who love Japanese aesthetics
